Morgan Advanced Materials use advanced carbon and ceramics materials to support the move to a more sustainable world.
Challenge
Morgan Advanced Materials had new machines installed and needed access to them without having to use ladders due to safety issues. They also required their existing mezzanine to be added onto and to integrate with the machine platforms and walkways.
Fixing the constraint
Heighton designed and constructed plant platforms and walkways around their existing machines and incorporated them into the mezzanine add-on to ensure it was all kept uniform and efficient. Morgan also couldn’t afford any posts in the way of the forklift area, which we achieved due to our flexible designs and system.
Implementation
Heighton was able to design custom fit-for-purpose plant platforms and walkways around their existing machines with minimal posts on the ground floor to keep existing operations as they were.
