Aluminium Industries
Project
Aluminium Industries provide aluminium manufacturing and products, pretty much everything in aluminium. This includes supply of acoustic sliding doors, custom and standard extrusion, product design engineering, sport utility beds, aluminium manufacturing, designer shower screens, wardrobe systems, project management for product development, welding, stamping, punching, crimping, surface finishing, machining, kitting and assembly operations.
Challenge
Aluminium Industries were getting new machines and had nowhere to put them, so they engaged Heighton mezzanines to design a mezzanine solution that would fit their purpose to create extra floor space and storage space for their new machines.
Fixing the constraint
Heighton was able to create extra floor space over the top of their existing operations and maximise their floor area. Aluminium Industries needed to get some large packs up onto the mezzanine so we designed a fit for purpose 4000mm wide swing-over gate so they were able to do this.
Implementation
Aluminium Industries gained an extra 270m2 of additional floor space without having to move or interrupt their existing operation on the ground floor. And they got the extra space they needed for the new machines.
